Contact

One address takes everything the Council receives — nominations, applications, corrections, objections, research enquiries, reports of a breach, and requests to be taken off the list. There is no form on this site, and nothing you write is loaded into PrepGraph's commercial systems.

Where to write

One address, and no form

A form has to post somewhere, and the system nearest to hand is PrepGraph's — which would make a nomination, a question or an objection the opening entry of a commercial record. The independence policy forbids that, so the Council uses an address, and the undertaking behind it is written down rather than implied.

Address of record

council@prepgraph.com

Nominations, applications, corrections, objections, research enquiries, breach reports and requests for removal all go to this one address. It is read by the secretariat, and matters of substance are put to the Founding Chair.

The Council publishes no telephone or messaging number and no personal contact for the Founding Chair. Anything of substance — a nomination, an objection, a concern that a rule has been broken — goes in writing to the address above, where the deadlines on this page apply.

Purposes

What to write about

Seven reasons people write. Each link opens an email with the subject line already set; each commitment beside it is quoted from the instrument that made it, and named so it can be checked.

  1. Nominate a founding member

Write to council@prepgraph.com. For a nomination, give the person's name, school or institution, role, and a few lines on which constituency and which pillar their experience would strengthen. Self-nomination is welcome and treated no differently.

    Public FAQ

    Send a nomination

    Subject: Nomination — Founding Member

  2. Apply to be a member or Expert Fellow

Everyone else who wants to contribute is considered as an Expert Fellow or as an Observer. Fellows are appointed for expertise and do not vote; Observers attend, are minuted by name and do not vote. Membership is individual and held in a personal capacity, so joining does not commit, badge or represent your school. More than one person from the same school may join.

    Public FAQ

    Send an application

Subject: Application — Founding Member or Expert Fellow

  3. Propose a research collaboration

The first task under the research pillar is an agenda, and it is published on this site. The Research Agenda and Ethics Framework sets out which questions about AI and learning in Indian schools are worth answering, which can be answered honestly at Indian school scale, and the ethical conditions under which the Council would attempt any of them.

    Public FAQ

Any study that follows is voluntary, consented and specific. A participating school's data belongs to that school. The Council receives only what the registered protocol lists, uses it for that study alone, and returns or deletes it when the study concludes. A completed readiness self-assessment sheet is never collected, in any study, by any route.

    Public FAQ

    Send a proposal

Subject: Research — proposal for collaboration

  4. Report a breach of the independence policy

Including a breach by PrepGraph, by the secretariat, or by a school claiming something the Council has not given it. Concerns about PrepGraph or the Secretariat go to council@prepgraph.com, marked for the Founding Chair.

Anyone. Members, participants, schools, the public, journalists and PrepGraph's own employees.

    Independence policy

In writing to council@prepgraph.com marked for the Chair. Acknowledged within five working days, and determined within thirty days.

    Independence policy

Past those deadlines the person may publish the concern in full, with no confidentiality asserted against them.

    Independence policy

    Report a breach

Subject: Breach of the independence policy — for the Founding Chair

  5. Request a correction

Write to council@prepgraph.com setting out what is wrong and why. Correspondence is acknowledged within five working days and answered within thirty days, which is the service standard for everything sent to that address.

    Public FAQ

A factual error is corrected within thirty days with a dated note that stays attached to the document and says what changed. Published work is never amended silently. A substantive methodological objection receives either a published response or a published statement that the Council does not intend to respond and why. A member who disagrees with a document they contributed to may have a dissenting note of up to three hundred words published alongside it, in their own words, unedited except for length and law.

    Public FAQ

    Request a correction

Subject: Correction — [name of the document]

  6. Ask a media question

Press enquiries reach the secretariat at the same address. The Council keeps no press office and no separate media line.

To any request for a member count, school count, pilot number or research claim: the Council states figures only in what it publishes, each with its source, and a spokesperson adds none.

    Communications kit

    Send a media enquiry

    Subject: Media enquiry

  7. Ask to be removed from any Council list

Removal from the list and deletion of the Council record are separate undertakings, given in separate instruments. Both are confirmed to you in writing.

Removal is completed within fourteen days and confirmed to you in writing.

    Public FAQ

A participant may require deletion of their Council record. It is completed within thirty days and confirmed in writing.

    Independence policy

    Request removal

    Subject: Removal from Council lists

Quoted from the public FAQ, the independence policy and the Council's communications kit. If a commitment on this page and the instrument behind it ever differ, the instrument governs.

After you write

What happens to a message

The same address takes applications, corrections, objections, breach reports, research enquiries and requests for removal from the list. Correspondence is acknowledged within five working days and answered within thirty days, and matters of substance, including anything alleging a breach of the rules in this document, are put to the Founding Chair. The address is administered by the Secretariat, which PrepGraph staffs.

Public FAQ · “How do I nominate someone, or get in touch?”

It is not added to any marketing list
Not through the Council. Member and participant contact details are held on a list separate from PrepGraph's commercial systems and are not loaded into them. They are not used for sales outreach, campaigns or lead scoring, and they are not sold, rented or shared.
Public FAQ
Untracked correspondence
Council email is sent from council@prepgraph.com without open or click tracking, and can be verified as such by any recipient.
Independence policy
Silence rule
The Secretariat neither volunteers nor confirms a participant's involvement to any commercial colleague, at any time, for any reason. That binds the three named officers as it binds anyone else holding Council duties.

Participant data

What the secretariat does with an email address

The Council holds personal data because people take part in its work, and for no other reason. It collects name, role, institution and one contact address. It does not collect procurement intent, budget, technology in use, contract dates or renewal timing, and the Secretariat discards such information even when a participant volunteers it in a meeting.

Council data is not sold, rented, licensed or shared with any third party, except a processor engaged under written contract to provide a service to the Council, such as hosting or the distribution of a circular. Council data is not transferred into PrepGraph's commercial systems in any circumstances, and its protection on any change of ownership of PrepGraph is settled by the entrenched Charter Article that constitutes PrepGraph as bare trustee for the Council.

Independence, Ethics and Conflict-of-Interest Policy · “Participant data protection”

Read the policy in full

Minimum collection
Name, role, institution, one contact address. Nothing that would be useful to a salesperson, and nothing recorded about budgets, contracts or renewal dates.
Retention limit
Contact and participation records: participation plus twenty-four months, then deletion, or sooner on request. Declarations, minutes, papers and outputs: seven years, as the Charter requires. Research data: the periods in the research instrument.
Named processors
Any third party that handles Council data is engaged under written contract and named.
Standard, not certification

The Council holds itself to the standard set by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the framework its participating schools already work within. That is a statement of a standard, not a claim of registration, certification or approval by any authority. The Council has no legal personality and cannot itself be a Data Fiduciary. For participation data PrepGraph is the Data Fiduciary, holding that data as bare trustee for the Council on the terms of the Charter, and this policy binds it as processing instructions. Data requests and grievances are sent to the grievance contact given in the Council's privacy notice, and are answered within thirty days; a person dissatisfied with the answer may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Any personal data breach is notified to affected participants and to the Data Protection Board of India within seventy-two hours of the Council identifying it.

Holding the Council to it

The dates on this page are the ones to hold us to.

Five working days to acknowledge correspondence and thirty days to answer it; five working days to acknowledge a concern marked for the Chair and thirty days to determine it; fourteen days to take you off the list. If the concern deadlines pass, the person who raised it is free to publish it in full, and the lapse is itself recorded in the annual public record.

Status

The Council is a voluntary, non-statutory initiative. It is not a government, regulatory or accrediting body, and it does not certify, rate or approve schools, curricula or products.

Neutrality

The Council does not endorse individual procurement decisions or technology vendors. Its role is to advance responsible AI readiness, educator capability and evidence-based innovation in schools.
